Miranda, on the left, is a teenager from California visiting her extended family in Allentown, PA. Her family and our family happened to be in the Hamilton Family Restaurant at the same time. In the restaurant’s lobby is a game that the player can “fish” for toys. Miranda was lucky (or good) that she caught two toys. She had seen my cousin’s three-year old daughter in the restaurant, and brought over the extra toy, asking my cousin if her daughter would like it. She immediately did, pleasantly surprised by Miranda! And we got to know Miranda and her mother a little more–generous and kind people. Thank you Miranda for your spontaneous kindness!
